Umoya draws its style inspiration from the natural surrounds, showcasing natural tones in the poplar wood beams, terracotta clay tiles and endless sliding glass doors which let the outside in. The high-pitched double volume rooms echo the landscape of the surrounding mountain ranges creating a sense of space. While the wooden beams throughout ensure a feeling of warmth, with the roughhewn plastered walls adding to the sense of natural finish.
Design touches in the rooms are reflective of the area and environment, integrating natural touches in the woven mats, weaved baskets, and further wood accents.
With a total of 14 rooms available on a bed and breakfast basis, Umoya further offers the opportunity for guests looking for self-catering options to choose to stay in its Olive & Lavender cottages, which are available in both four and eight sleeper configurations. These villas offer groups travelling together a shared lounge, kitchen, and dining area complete with wood burning Godin fireplaces. Both cottages offer wheelchair friendly rooms.

Luxury Rooms

Situated in the Manor House main building there are five spacious 28m² ensuite rooms, one of which is wheelchair accessible. The rooms offer privacy, with the opportunity to connect with other guests in the shared spaces.
The extra length king size beds, linen curtains, pure cotton linen and extra touches all invite you into a luxurious cocoon.
Situated on the ground floor, the wheelchair accessible and adjoining room each have private balconies with seating, offering a space to unwind and enjoy the spectacular views. Situated on the first floor are the remaining three luxury rooms showing a fantastic view of the Bay and the mountains.

Olive & Lavender Villa’s

Both villas are separate structures from the main building, offering a configuration of two separate pods. Each pod consists of two en-suite bedrooms with lounge and dining area. They share a fully stocked kitchen area. The pods can be booked seperately, or together resulting in four bedrooms, 2 living rooms and a kitchen. This makes them ideal for larger families or groups travelling together.
The comfortable lounges are equipped with smart TV’s offering access to all streaming platforms and DSTV and offer a place to relax and reconnect after a day of exploring. Each pod has a dining table, fireplace, a cosy seating area and two private verandas each with their own unique views.
Each of the uniquely decorated 23m² en-suite bedrooms have King-sized beds which can be converted to twin beds on request. The bathrooms offer showers that have both overhead and hand-held option, non-slip flooring, heated towel-rails and luxury bathroom amenities.
The rooms include, telephone, minibar with snacks, floor heating and cooling, coffee & tea facilities, safes, hairdryer, and bathrobes.
